This quest begins in the Swamp of Screams. Speak with Mercenary Captain Pierce and he will ask you to collect 100 stakato talons for him. Bring back 100 talons and you will be given 20 Golden Ram Coins. You can turn these in 10 at a time for a Dimension Diamond, or 1 at a time for Loot Pouches which open into consumable potions (healing and others).
