Not to promise anything, but I would expect some news of a release date within two weeks. Probably will get more of this info and pictures up before they will release a date though. We will have to wait and see :D |

 Posts: 985 Joined: 28 Jun 2004 | C2 was the main reason I got back into this game. I can't wait for the mini games and just about every other thing you can do in place of the grind. Now all you can really do when you aren't leveling is talk, and even that gets old. The one thing I wish companies would stop doing (cause I know this is the case) is telling us they are going to release something in 8-9 months, or 2 years. Why they hell do they do this? It makes the damn wait seem longer. I know C2 is going to be around November/December and I don't want to know that!!!!!! It's like knowing Halo 2 comes out November 9th. I hate waiting is basically what I am trying to say. Whoopie :D |
 Posts: 147 Joined: 2 Jul 2004 | Over on the official boards it was stated that they intended to have C2 on the Test Server before October 31st. C1 was only on the Test Server for a little over a week or so, so we should get it in November, by my guess. |

I haven't played for a while because the grind made me go bonkers, so hopefully this stuff is so fun, it will bring people back. |

Exactly what I was thinking. I have been an L2 addict for over a year now (nb: ive played korean and tiwan) And waiting for a readable version (USA L2) was a god send. But now its starting to lose its appeal, even to me =/ If C2 gets delayed or witheld it will destroy L2, and any respect the game has. Which isn't exactly much now is it? With all the farming troubles and major clan leaders dropping like flys. And C2 is deadly important to L2 right now, as EQ2 (could mention WoW, but LOL! Wasnt that meant to be released last month? ::rolls::) is just lurking behind the corner. Anyway I really hope C2 comes soon. I hope also new servers will arrive, and the option to switch to them. |
Posts: 2106 Joined: 5 May 2004 | I agree. And I think c2 is nearly ready. I think ncsoft just tries to drag things out to keep players longer... if they realizes that many are losing interest of quitting i think they would press to finish and get it out quickly. |
 Posts: 11 Joined: 4 Apr 2004 | Yeah I left Lineage 2 for CoH a month ago, vowing to return with Chronicle 2, mainly because I couldn't take L2 anymore. The grind drove me bonkers, ebayers drove me nuts, and farmers were starting to make me go red at every turn. It's bad enough I'm half chinese but when I start screaming at other chinese people in chinese to go away and leave my kills along, and 'rang rang gun', well yeah I had to get the hell outta that game. Also it was boring to me, the animations are so limited and the mobs are so limited in look wise. Only so many times I can double cut something, it's boring, slice, ss, slice, ss, slice, ss. |

Posts: 985 Joined: 28 Jun 2004 | I don't remember where I read it, somewhere on this site though. Someone said Chronicle 2 will be what makes or breaks the game. (Or something like that) I would have to agree. If it isn't half as great as it sounds I won't be able to stick around too much longer after, especially considering how fast I lost interest the first time. Right now I am leveling as much as possible and gearing up for whatever C2 has to offer that I will be able to handle. If there wasn't any other update in sight at this point I can say for a fact I would drop the game. I just hope NCSoft stops wasting half a year to translate and test a mere 300 megs of stuff all the while charging us $15 a month. But it's money so I suppose it's only "correct" for them to make us wait as long as possible. I mean they tested C1 and look how bugged to crap it was... [Edited by {Kei} at 1:04 PM on 10/5/2004] |

Uhm, hello, did I miss something or is C1 NOT an "expansion". I will explain this, just for the clueless. When they released this game, they released it in it's BETA format. C1 was actually the build that the game was SUPPOSED to be released in. C1 is what we paid for, that is the version that should have come with our original box. In other words, they released the BETA then gave us the game we PAID for later! Murezor |

It is the minimum from NCSoft to release these "expansions" in this short period of time, what more, they should've began with C1 on the very first day and C2 could be considered the first expansion, tho I would say it might put the game to the state of 1.0. C1 is just a beta version you have to pay for :P |

Posts: 65 Joined: 12 Oct 2004 | I heard that...at C2 they'll start selling Enchant scroll in the store.. and for D armor scroll is only 4k.. and D weapon is 15k...so whoever got those +1 , +2 , or +3 weapon / armor ...u better sale it fast before C2 comes... otherwise you're lossN alota Adena here now... and dont even talk about CG...it's way cheaper too guys..so don't even buy any enchant scroll from those others...I hope this info will help you guys.. |
