ive never really had a problem with the large banner ads to the right and the one above....

however, i do have a problem with:

its beginning to pop up more and more....its not adware or spyware because it only does it when i visit warcry...plus ive run all the necessary programs etc. etc.

whats the deal?

Hm, I've never seen stuff like that on Warcry. Maybe it's because of my Browser. I use Opera and it blocks unwanted popup stuff pretty good. If I were you I'd give an other browser a try and look if it still appears...

It really beging to pop up now for me, all the time. Using firefox 1.04 and it complety stops the page loading, has to reload or click on it and refresh page to get to warcry

Yeah I had it to, using firefox as well but I always ended up getting like 3 of the same banner ads.

Since it's halting page viewing, just download the AdBlock extension for Firefox, and block the ads on the site.

I sent an e-mail a few days ago about it, but haven't heard back, so it's a last resort.

I've been blocking everyone that comes up using adblock. I thought it was working until I got the page (no add) but nothing else either. It was like the ad should be there but was being blocked, but somehow still halted the page from loading.

I'm using firefox 1.04 with adblock

Go to tools --> extensions --> download extensions.

Adblock is a little plugin for firefox, it's one of the most popular on the page you're taken to.

When you get it, ads will have a little tab on them saying "adbloick" easiest way to block all ads is to delete the part after the last (it'll have a really long filename usually ending in .swf) change the target to block to *rest of the address**.* that blocks everything, it won't cock up the rest of warcry if you do it right, all thier ads are stored in a seperate folder, you're basically blocking everything in the ad folder.

I'm getting these as well. I'm trying to adblock them with little success. I don't know how to post pictures on Warcry yet, but I put an image up on my website which shows the images as well as the two sources. Here is the link to the image.

Did you clock the ads? You need to click the tab above them.

I found out the source of these ads when I used Adblock

http://www.burstnet.com/cgi-bin/ads/

I put this in to block and it was fine after that
