Seems to me each Archer classes are best at one role.

Hawk Eye- Best in sieges. Stay in one area and start sniping out his/her target.

Silver Ranger- Best for PKing with. The fast run speed helps them escape from people who are chasing them, or just kite them.

Phantom Ranger- Best PvP archer in game, expecially with that counter shot thing going on, they're just so deadly.

Anybody willing to comfirm this?

Best Self buff PvP = SR

Best Buffed PvP = HE.

PR = Stunned by EVERY stunshot lol.

yep. I'd have to agree...Fatal Counter means nothing if you get stunned or receieved a critical hit of 1-2k.

Out of those archers... no tyrants or destroyers... Which would you say is THE best out of them all. I know there are no BEST archer in game, since they all have their ups and downs, which would you still say is best?

Dark elfs look best, so that win in my view. Humans look..well, like us. Light elfs look like they'd break if u got one in the sack. DE fem for teh win.

As i said buffed HE would pwn all.

Self buffed SR would win.

For Ambushing the PR would win with his power, his only chance is to not be seen lol.

Can i add a question. Which archer has the longest range? I dident know HE had the best range but i just need to make sure.

If you are that worried about low HP of a PR it is nothing a CON tat could not fix.

I would not trade my PR for the world just because of the Debuffs and high STR. Obviously I am biased and I am not stating PR is the best archer. But only best in my wiev and for my style.

I have a +4 wit tat,+4 dex tat, and wearing doomlight make me -1str +7 dex -6 con. And I am happy as a clam. When I pop a magic haste 3 and use and bsps, before you can say "look, a PR. what is he doi..." I will be able cast freezing strike, hex, powerbreak and life drain for 500-600 hp. Heck, assuming a few of those land I may even have time to take a sip from my drink then go ahead and finish whatever.

So it is all in the setup, play style and your talent in executing your toon.

There is also Fatal Counter after lvl 60 that *may* tip the scale further for PR.

At any rate, I disagree with one archer under equal conditions pwning all. There are lots of variables that make up the final outcome. But that's just me...

well, not really. but its funny seeing them haul a bow around taller than they are.

Here's a new question... out of those three archers, which would you say is the best for soloing and leveling fast?

Soloing in my definition does not include buffs from a buffbot, in which case either 3 is fine. Technically, that would not be "soloing" because you are being assisted by an outside "person."

For those of you that doubt a PR's strengths havent seen Lianli on seig. Ive seen him PvP and seen many fraps with him (a real life friend of mine is in MXG) and he cleans up with the dmg he does.

Archers in general are a great force in this game reguardless of which version you speak of ... I have seen players from all three classes be extremely deadly when played right ... however....

IN terms of the archer class that was made into the greatest PvP character I've seen it would be Hong interstingly enough on Sighardt who no longer plays but was an SR for the majority of the past year and a half ...

He killed so many of every class in this game that his name is known in forum circles even outside of the L2 community simply because he was able to take his class and with skill devastate every other player he chose to in the game ... alot of people say buffed its hawkeye, well he could own this guy ... And Zert is not easily beaten ...

IN C2 He owned this guy ... Beantown A 75 TH in C2 .. And TH's were "unbeatable" in C2.

Hong was a good PvPer yes, but it was his ability to use his chosen class that created the evenue through which he succeded, SR therefore gets my all-round best archer vote.

By the way guys, lets try to keep this ontopic as much as is possible, give the guy a break :D

Woot! love for the SRs.

Although I'd like to point out that THs generally lose to SRs anyway because they are slow and have no entangle/freezing/hamstring skill. However, kudos to this guy for being well known in sieg and being able to takedown hawkeyes.

.Hard to say whick is the best archers, I thing it's all depends on micro-operation skill...perfect operation make it perfect....I like the one with fast solo leveling though
