I got my first char to 60 tonight, with 2 more at 58, closing fast. So, me and my one clan m8 (a fellow dual boxer) decided we would upgrade from the Apostate cata's to the Wiches.

Now, i've made plenty posts about bots before, i hate them and i kill them/train them/report them and generaly piss on their parade at every turn. I've been known to rebuff any argument that says bots ruin ur hunt but this evening was something else.

The first room...bots, ok. We take a breather, brew come coffee while myself and my m8 report em from both our chars.

Ok, we move on...room 2, 3, 4, in all directions, taken by bots.

Now, this is beyond ridiculous. We eventually found a small room with crap spawns and hid there for a while.

Then a train of 8 logs in and that's that.

I can't PK these ppl. I can't train them because i'm not high lvl enough on my tank to take the beating from the higher lvl stuff/casters. All i can do is report them and go home.

I mean..wtf? A whole catacomb owned by trains of bots.

Don't even question my ability to spot a bot. I KNOW a bot train when i see one.

They don't use ss for a start. They always have a spoiler. They have no guild tags or clan, don't acknowledge your presence, yada, yada, yada. Oh, adn they move like a bunch of bots.

Interestingly enough, the goup who turfed us out of our room was all in one chinese named clan. Again, how can i be sure? U watch them. People don't move like that, not even with auto target.

Anyway, that's beside the point. I just CAN'T hunt there. I can't KS them cause they kill as fast as we do and what's the point? I know if i piss them off enougn they'll just log in that lvl 75 tyrant/SpS/Dagger and kick the smeg outa me.

Totally fed up now...going back to the wastelands with my SH to nuke ALOT of bots.

Take a screenshot and then start to shout that if they don't clear a room you will report them. This is what our clan does and everytime, there is at least one or two live farmers somewhere in the catacomb who is running the trains live ... if you can find this person ... you will have your room.

Yeah I noe what you mean.

There are just not enough ganker parties at high levels.  People who invest that much time in a toon, do not want their karma all messed up where they drop stuff every time they die.  Although, big clans on bartz have their perma-red alts which they clean out rooms with.  If you have a SH you are willing to make uber red, I'm sure you can find some people to pk farmers with you.

It was first layer mobs, i can't hunt the second layer yet (all red/light red. I could hunt them, but cost me cash i don't have atm).

The room i eventually occupied for a short while was taken from me by walkers (leader at keyboard). He even said "pleas find room next door" and started laying into my mobs with 8 chars.

It seems to be the in thing these days to have a person at keyboard with a bot train (at least in the higher level areas). Makes it very hard to PK/Train them. Hopefully my recent good luck with the GM's having a clue and taking some kind of action will hold.

I'm getting to the stage of just giving up...right now i want to go hunt, but i know that all my favourite spots are occupied by bots and i just don't have the will to fight them anymore. U kill them, they come back 5 minutes later/log a backup train in right away/PK the hell out of you.

Meh, gonna go play Gunz for a bit, pretend all my frags are bots ^_^

just go to deep, deep apostate.

you can stay there until you are 64 or so.

by then, you can go into 2nd layer mobs

Yeh, prbs back to aopostate. At least it's real ppl that are the problem there (omg, a group of 4 ppl with the same guild tags, they must be bots!!!!...*sigh*)

And if i was gonna restart on a diff server i would probs do it on a different game ^_^ (none take my fancy atm tho, so i'll try slog it out with l2 :P)

Heheh, yeh, i would only if there was nothing to gain and all to lose.

These bots aren't all afk. There's one guy at the steering wheel with 7 more accounts controlled through external macros. One click of a button from him and 8 lvl 60+ chars nail me at once.

This is serious farming. I was back there tonight, seeing if there was any less, but no...same bunch, doing the same things.

So, back to apostate soon as my guild bud logs on. Get to 62+ and then hit 2nd tier mobs in Wiches, they seem to be reasonably bot free. (probs cause they drop crap =-=)

  There is probably something good spoiling in witches which they are after.   I would try Ascetics or Martyrs Necropolis'.
