Moderator  Posts: 5149 Joined: 30 Jun 2004 | I heard some people have this problem that their anti-virus won't let them start the game. I think you are supposed to manually "tell" your Anti-virus to allow the program to run.

Posts: 2231 Joined: 13 May 2005 | i got the same error (trojan warning) from my AV Antivir software. On the offical forums they stated that it is a problem with the encryption of the L2.exe. Often maleware is using the same protection to hide, so quite some securtiy software is reporting L2 as a trojan/virus/maleware. Lineage2: prepare to grind - like you've never grinded before |

Hi
Was going to get back to the game after a while vacation. So im downloading the hellbound-client from lineage2.com (its the link my account is giving me for download), but when installing, i cant start it. It says that L2.exe cant be started and that its some trojan or something (bought new computer since last time i played so havnt got old client installed).
What should i do?
