I seem to get owned all the time now, but before when it was Interlude i ould own. Now it seems my stun lands less, lower attack speed, and well everything is lowered. Now all that happens to me is that i get killed? Should i maybe switch to Hawkeye?

HE is still the FOTM archer, because of his ability to carry more pots/arrows/shots. i wouldnt call a SR a pointless class, its harder to play than the more stand and shoot type archers HE and PR. SR will have to seriously kite their enemy to benefit from their speed advantage and get time to move away to selfheal themselves. what i find somewhat interesting is that your saying that your attack speed is too slow. are you not on the lvl where you get the attack speed boost skill of the SR yet? i heared that the range restriction isnt that much of a problem and that the speed boost is a real problem for most enemies.

but if your having problems with your archer, you should also think of the next update. translated patch notes suggest that arrow damage will go down once your targets close in. so the stand-and-shoot power of HE will be less impressive than an SR ability to quickly gain some ground and then go at their targets again.

SRs, like most LE, are weak in attack power. That does not make them useless, though. What better class to chase someone down and go scout around farming areas for people on your clan's KoS?

Gurag, show me a PR that "stands and shoots" and I will call him an idiot.

of course all archers kite, its just that mostly PR and HE seem to wait longer and try to overpower me when i approach them, where the SR tend to move away sooner to get their range advantage again. thats why i called them "more stand-and-shoot"-types.
