Actually hitting 80 by only killing Keltirs is way more challenging. what people dont realize that WoWs challenge is not leveling to 70 its WAY beyond that. when l2s primary challenge is grinding. oh and tell me about wow not being challenging after you kill Illidan and try to put on some tier6 gear on. I agree its not hard at all running around in greens. and Hemi stop trolling this post and kissing everyone's arse who has opposite to me ideas , noone cares what you think about game you've never really played, im getting sick of your immature childish comments. |

Yes, the challenge of L2 is just getting to a level, hitting level 80 is a massive achievement and something to be very proud of. This is reflected in the choice of end game content L2 offers. The subclassing element provides another levelling challenge and gives decent rewards for completing it. When you hit max level in L2 you've done enough, there's no hardcore gear grind, if you get there you're good enough to experience all the end game content it has to offer. WoW on the other hand really begins at 70, while it's easy to hit max level there's so much more to do from there on. While in L2 you can hit 80 and with decent gear go for the really tough raid bosses, WoW makes you work at max level to be geared enough to fight the tough raids. They really take a similar time investment. I've played both games extensively but I still can't say one is better than the other, they're good for different reasons. WoW doesn't really reward hardcore grinding as much, it's quest based. There's something to be said for the gear too, getting a top-end drop in WoW to sell on might net you a few hundred gold, top-end drops in L2, while less common are MUCH more valuable. WoW and L2 are still the most popular MMOs on the market by far and both deservedly so. Lineage 2 WarCry Site Manager |

Uh...if you look around these forums, or ask any who have been here for any length of time you will soon realize that I have been playing L2 since retail. Step 2 would be to STFU. |
Dungeon Crawler Posts: 644 Joined: 7 Aug 2006 | i think hes talking about your lack of WOW play time, being relative to your comments about it, not your lack of l2 experiance. It dosent matter to me ether way, just wanted to point that out. ^^ |

Master Looter Posts: 1405 Joined: 24 May 2005 | Even raiding on WoW isn't that challenging as long as you look up boss fights before you actually do them, which takes all about 15 minutes to do. Now granted, progression raids are annoying, but once you learn the fight, it's easy. My friend got from Kara to Hyjal in about 3 months from fresh 70 to tier 6 gear. I could have gone with, but, school was more important at the time. And he even said that raiding wasn't really "challenging" more, time consuming if anything. Maybe, he's just in a good guild *shrugs* And stop complaining about trolling, you're trolling too.

So, this can make it tuff to find a group of 25 people who are not only on compatible schedules, but who are also willing to raid for hours, and also have the trust of the majority of the raid to do there job effectivly. Everyone knows that a single weak link can wipe a raid. So yes the battles might be cut and paste, but the orginization, and overall integrity of the group and there cooperation is the real battle. |

Therefore WoW raid grinding is equivalent to L2 exp grinding. Both are easy but take a while as long as you know what you're doing. Lineage 2 WarCry Site Manager |

thats just wrong to say about any mmmorpg. that would be same as if someone said trucks are better then cars. they are both mmorpgs but totally different progression and goals.
and whats a "true mmorpger" anyway.
would you play L2 if it looked just like wow but kept all functions and game progression the same?
