Hello, I'm a total newbie when it comes to lineage so i need you guys to point me in the right direction. I need help with pickin which class to play. I was always pvp warrior with either two swrods/daggers or two handed sword. I don't like tanks even if they'r much easier in pve. With that in mind what would u recommend ?

Gladiators are dual sword wielding melee damage dealers but have relatively low survivability.

If you want a big strong 2h sword user, go for an orc Destroyer, they have loads of natural HP and their guts and frenzy abilities boost their p.def and p.attack by huge amounts when their hp gets low.

Another possibility is the male Kamael berserker, though i've not played one myself.

the orc Tyrant uses 2handed fist weapons that you could envision yourself to be daggers. they have very rounded stats, a lot of self buffs that help them to adapt to different situations and they are quite fun to play.

Tyrant, tyrant or...a tyrant.

Tyrants are sorta the Gladiators of the orc race.

Lots more HP though.

I've played most race/classes(not so many of the nuker/buffer, but some). And I have found the Tyrant to be the most fun. You can literaly change your class with your totems(to a degree). I had an Orc Destroyer, but he ran soooo damm slow I lost my mind. I tried the Tyrant and LOVED it. I can run fast, hit fast, hit hard or tank(again to a greater or lesser degree).

Super fun class. Try to find a video of a Tyrant with Haste, Puma, Haste SA and Fist Fury. Its hilarious to see how fast they hit and makes you cry when you see your SS POURING down the drain.

I used to play a silver ranger before I quitted the game. Now I'm considering a come back but would still prefer to be a ranger. Among the ranger in the game, which one do you think rules now? I read some forums and they said after the changes of several chronicles, the silver ranger is now pretty weaker compared to the other ranger. What do you think?

Naw, phantom rangers are still the weakest. SR have just fallen behind Hawkeyes in popularity these days.

gracia comes soon, and these debates may be greatly comprimised.Especialy in the archer topic.i mean this not so much with the skills, but more with the style that will be required to use them effectivly.

Btw, I was comparing between the Cardinal and the Eva Saint the other day, which class do you think are more welcome to a party? I prefer the Bishop but heard from other forums that parties usually prefer EE instead.

Both are pretty specialised. if you manage to get to these lvls both classes will be welcome. Bishop has the advantage of better heals, EE has the blessed-group soe when things get to tough.

Ash, I ran through certain town in L2 Teon, most of the healer I meet are EE, some SE, but Bishops are really rare, juat a few of them, is this class boring, or they are just hard to lvl than the other two healer class? What about finding a party before you hit 3rd class?

Bishops are pure healers and perform best in large groups. the best lvl-groups are small groups, so to lvl a bishop is harder than an EE or SE, so they tend to be much rarer. if you have a good clan it will be fine.

the upcoming update Gracia might change this a bit, in the way that healers will be able to start nuking a bit. this might be an upgrade for all three healer classes, but since i didnt play on the pts so far, i cant say for sure.

as a first character i would suggest to not take any of the healers, they arent realy that beginner friendly. a buffer class like the orc warcryer or de bladedancer would be much better choices, since they are wanted/needed for nearly any group, where a lot of groups do pretty fine without a healer during lvling.
