MP knelt in the thicket of grass watching the mages argue. Laughing to herself, she remained hidden and watched what would unfold.

She listened to Ivory tell the Sorceror that she was the one that would take the injured Marasune. Shifting her weight to her other leg, she saw Bogmod cast some sort of spell as Ivory rambled along about her superiority.

"Foolish Necromancer," she thought, "she's become like the ones we so despise at the Ivory Tower."

Delighted to see her fellow practitioner in the dark arts carry away Marasune, she stood to stretch her legs. However, when she looked back, it was Bogmod who was walking away with the injured Elf. Again laughing to herself, she stalked along behind the Sorceror and realized that she still had a chance to gain the favor of Jisai...

As soon as Ivory left she felt something was wrong. Marasune had a special, and quite specific bio-signature. Her soul was a special one and could not be like any other. When she was traveling through subspace she felt her mind clear. Softly sighing, she let go of the illusion. Her anger focused, her black eyes glowing... she turned around and gestured with her hand, opening a Gate to where she had previously left, stepping through she found it empty, nobody was there..

"This is most disconcerning. I see this troublesome Sorceror will need to have a lesson taught to him. When I am through with you BogMod, down the dark decades of your pain, this day will seem like a memory of Heaven, I assure you."

Shutting her eyes she listened.. the whispers of the damned told her where they were and that MoonPenguin was closely in tow to them. Following their guidance, she gave chase.. she would make the Sorceror pay for his insolence, and return with that she and her sister was charged, the safe return of their Goddess' mate, Marasune.

Opening a Gate once more, she followed the string of their wake, and arrived a few moments ahead of BogMod's pace. Slightly irritated, she raised many of the undead there to aid her, and freed the resident demons in the area, as well as her own skeleton servitor. She had an undead army waiting for them as they arrived, and when they did, her arms were folded across her ample chest, her black eyes glowing with focused resolve.

"You did not really believe you could fool the Mistress of the Underworld, did you?"

He paused and looked first left then right then back to her. "Jisai is here? Oh, you meant you. No, I didn't really expect it to work that long though I had hoped to get farther before you caught up. And I see you have crafted a small army of reinforcements."

He knealt down and placed Marasune back to the ground and with a hard sweep of his foot formed a circle in the dirt about the two of them in preparation for a battle he hoped he could avoid.

"So are we to have a proper mage duel then? Or is Jisai and Moon Penguin nearby ready to strike when I am distracted? Its not like we have to fight afterall. We are both after the same thing really here, helping Marasune. You heard it from Jisai's own lips, she values her more then she does her own life. So surely it comes down to if Marasune wishes to join you and go to her mother that you will take her. Anything else would be risking your master's anger. Course, I risk it freely cause hey, its not like she isn't angry at me allready."

His concentration focused on preparing a few things meant that Ivory got a better glimpse at what he truely was. Though he looked human...and to be fair mostly was human there was something else in his blood, something not found in any of the five races that walked Aden. He watched the army of undead, working out a few possible ways this could play out with the least harm to him, Marasune, and Ivory if at all possible.

"So then, going to let me on my way until Marasune wakens?"

She was getting rather tired of Jisai and her tricks when she phazed into the plane of the dead. It was not a place of horror for her that it would be to other elves. She understood the cycle of life, death and rebirth.

It appeared she was going have to take direct steps. She simply waited till Jisai formed up from her own spell, as she knew she would. Not giving her time to even orient on her new surroundings she reached out and grabbed the front of the avatars robe and yanked her forward.

"Is there a reason you are doing this to me? Are you trying to make me mad? You say you like me, yet you tortue me and constantly belittle me. You are going right behind me and destroying the things I value. Shillien may be immune to the greater part of mothers powers, but an avatar isn't. Do I need to have her interceede?"

She abruptly let go of Jisai's robe. "What is it this time? What evil thing are you going to do to me now. I try and try to help you and you hate me for it."

*The knight away visiting his new son had missed most of the events that had unfolded here this day. And, so taking his place..which he had none, he stayed quietly in the shadows..watching, waiting for something. He has faith that his hunting partner and friend that lies unconsious will regain her stregth and somehow go on as she always does. If it be Jisai her ever so close watcher and lover or another way...he has learned simply not to worry.*

*A twig snaps under his foot as he shifts his weight to watch the pending duel. He growls in his mind glancing at the broken wood hoping no one heard him. His intention only being to follow the events as they occur and be there in the aftermath.*

*He had been there long enough to catch a glimps of Marasune's daughter...one she had told him only minimal things about. He was shocked to see her ghostly resemblance to her mother...and, he feared that she was more like her mother than she will ever know...and so he sits...and waits.*

"Your quip of sarcasm is hardly amusing, mortal, as I and my sister MoonPenguin are indeed the Mistress' of the Underworld. We have been charged by Shilen herself, to oversee her domain when she is away with Marasune, and our direct responsibility is the harvesting of souls here in Aden."

Watching him lay Marasune down delicately, and use his foot to draw a magical protective circle she smirked.

"You dont really believe that Protection Circle will stop me, do you? As for Marasune, she is not yours. She belongs to the faith of Shilen, and to Shilen herself. You have no right to keep me from her, other than your own selfish whims."

Her eyes turning playful again, those black sockets surging with power.

"What? You want to keep her for yourself? Lustful feelings for the Drow female have you?"

Raising her right hand to her soft lips, she giggled.

"You are wasting your time if that is the case, mortal, she could not want you in any fashion. It does not matter if you are playing the hero, as it will not change her mind. She loves her Mother, and she loves our Faith, that will not be swayed by your random act of attempted heroism."

Her eyes flashed suddenly, and she became distracted momentarily. She heard a sound.. that of a twig snapping. Looking over in the direction of the sound she spoke as she could feel the dark heart of the one in its hiding.

"Stitches, come to me, honoured Shilen Knight, and servant of Shilen. I require your support to free Marasune from the clutches of this uncooperative Sorceror, and to return her to her Mother where she belongs, and wants."

The undead army was getting restless, if there was such a thing. They swayed and moaned in their eternally tormented state. The demons summoned, looked on with a grin, eager to tear into the Human. Looking back over to BogMod, she glared at him.

"As for letting you on your way. I think not. You have something that belongs to me, and I want it. -Now-. I will, however, allow you safe passage out of this place -if- you comply. If you do not... well, suffice to say, you will remember the time before this day as a piece of Heaven before the eternal torment and suffering I will take great personal pleasure in submitting upon you for your continued insolence."

Her robed arms outstretched, and her gloved hands becoming consumed with blood red, swirling energy, she stared into him with her dead-like black eyes, as the chilling wind lightly blew through her blood red hair, inside her black hood.

"Now. Choose."

Looking somewhat shocked at the Elf Healers audacity, she quickly changed her surprise to a smirk.

"Getting a bit ballsy are we?"

Laughing at her statement of making her mad she just could not help it.

"Oh yes, I truly fear your wrath, little one, oh how I would quake from such anger."

Her sarcasm thick and obvious, she just watched the Healer, observing her and seeing what she would do next. Changing her smiling face as she heard her speak, her golden iris's suddenly began to pulse with anger. Staring into the blue eyes of the Healer, her voice became lower.. and deadly serious.

"You seem to forget to whom you address, little Elf. The Jisai you knew is gone, she has been gone for quite some time as she was merely my host body and now serves as my physical manifestation in your realm. You are now, and have been, from the beginning, addressing Shilien.. the Goddess Shilien, you would do well to choose your next words carefully, and with more respect in your tone."

Turning around from Eurydice, her dark, curvy body flashed, and was suddenly nude. Her bare bum and backside swaying softly as she walked gracefully to her throne. Turning around, she sat on the glassy smooth, black marble throne, its surface chilly as its sides were adorned in glowing golden symbols of power, as her uncovered charms was clearly displayed, she crossed her legs. Then again in another flash of white light, her body was clothed in black and silver battle armour, a black helmet, and a large, magical red staff, with the Eye of Shilien at its top.

Her eyes were locked to the blue ones of the Eva follower, a seductive smirk across her lips.

"In my physical Avatar form, my power may be lessened in your world of Aden, my dear... but down here, in my Underworld, I make the rules.. down here........ I'm Goddess."

"Just food for thought."

"Whew, I am glad of your assurances that she wont be interested in me. The girl I actually care for might get upset over that. Ahh, reinforcements hmm? Ahh the double arrogance. That your power is so great, but not actually putting yourself at any risk."

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair looking at her.

"You know, you really need to work on your threats. You allready assured me that when I die I am going to suffer for all eternity in the Underworld so a couple decades of extra life compared to an eternity of pain really isn't that big a threat. Die now die later its all the same. Besides, I can always drag you down with me. You need Marasune alive. I just want her so. I have nothing to lose if she dies, but you do. "

His eyes then turned down at the circle in the dirt.

"Oh this little thing? Honestly no I don't expect it to stop you at all. I am sure it wont protect me at all. Nope, no protection from this little circle."

He smiled a little. His back up plan was ready should things not go quite as he had hoped. He turned his head to the left to count then to his right to count and then paused and considered. His eyes turned to her finally and he gave a shrug.

"Eh, I was never one to take the easy road. I will risk battle. Be careful with whatever you try. You have to make sure your prize isn't damaged. You know Shillen will know if you let her mate get hurt."

"No, I am not getting..that way. I am getting tired of all this. What is the point of this." She waved at the area. "Did you bring me down here.." She paused. "Up here... Whever this place is to comfort some poor souls? Perhaps reincarnate a few?"

She sighed. "I know what you are and any respect I had for you was a bit dulled by all the crap you have put me through. Let's get on with this please."

*Stepping forth into what little light now shone into this place the knight stood firmly staring straight through the mass of mystics and onto the goddess herself.*

*Shifting his body forward with a gentle stroll closer his eyes remained fixed on her. His shield secured to his back and his stained samurai sword still held in its intricately designed scabbard. Over the years his changing lifestyle had brought upon him a change in his once harsh eyes...they glow still of Drowish blood, yet a cool blue haze rises from his pupils. A color of mystery and a color of contentment. His cubes dance around his head as he approaches.*

*His armor taps the floor lightly as he kneels before the goddess, almost completley ignoring the gathered crowd. He simply glances at each of the souls crowded around, his eyes fixing on each with a slight unbiased nod and then moving to the next. Looking back to the one whom his title derives from he stands upright and speaks softly.*

"You have allowed much happiness to consume my life...and yet, I always seem to see such strife in your own daughter's life. I do not side here today...discordance of your will on these plains means certain agony."

*He smiles an unbroken truly comfortable smile, one that had been lost for many years. He looks at each of the sides about to duel and wonders what drives them. He turns to face them all, his back to the goddess' throne; he turns his head to her and nods slightly hoping for an understanding of his position to keep his friend from the harm of any further attempts.*

*Drawing his great samurai sword with a faded inscription running the length of the blade he stands silent and looks upon the group once again. He walks towards the spot where Marasune lies on the ground. Looking down upon her he shakes his head and thinks of how different the two of them are even though they are so much alike. He thinks of his wife, his son...and his honor then removes the shield from his back.*

"Vendui', so...how is this infectious blunder going to unravel?"

With a wicked cackle, she looked at the Sorceror, her hands still consumed in blood red energy. Her brood was becoming restless, they wanted the Sorcerors' flesh, and it showed. Even the risen Sorcerors were readying their offensive spells to strike down BodMod if he even looked like he was going to become hostile.

"Anyone who is a veteran of war knows you do not do something so foolish as allow your general to be slain, the fodder goes first, always. As for you dragging me down with you.. I think not. My death is of no consequence, for I will be immediately reconstituted. You see I am already dead, ignorant human, and have been for many centuries. I have no blood except that which I draw from others' flesh. Your "slaying me" will be of little point, for I can never truly die now. The magic that binds me is that of the Goddess herself. She sustains me, and my dark soul. So you see, you might as well give up now, for your plans to -beat- me, are undone, and you are hopelessly outnumbered."

Glancing down to the circle briefly, she saw through the wizards initial ploy.

"You think you will Gate her out if I get to close? You do know I can follow her wherever she goes? I know her soulstring intimately, so again, you waste your time. You seem persistant to keep her from me, why is this? She belongs to us, -not- you. As for her being injured, that will not occur unless you are foolish enough to not comply."

Looking over to Stitches she gives him an odd, almost half shocked look. The undead army begins to surround the Sorceror, slowly boxing him in, their tormented moans becoming louder.

"You have me misrepresented, Knight. I am not the Goddess Shilen, I am, however, one of two of her immediate subordinates. I am Ivory, Mistress of the Underworld, my sister MoonPenguin and I stewart things when she is with her Marasune, and we are in charge with the harvesting of fresh souls to the Abyss."

Her black eyes glowed ominously.. as her blood red hair swayed in the cold, evening breeze, the chill almost unbearable to the warm flesh of the living.

"You surprise me, Shilen Knight, why have you decided to not automatically side with that of your faith? This is a dangerous game you are playing. Your life has been blessed because of your faith and your homage to Shilen.. Marasune's life is not filled with strife, it is as it should be, difficult, but not unmanagable. She is the child of Shilen, and her mate, her duty is to cause chaos in Aden, and to bring about the mobilization of the living forces to crush these Humans and Light Elves... you should know this."

Smiling, the Goddess quite enjoyed the look and demeanor of confusion in the face and eyes of Eurydice. It was what she enjoyed.. chaos.

"You still speak to me with a lack of respect. I find it interesting that you continue to address me so."

Staring at her, she then looked away for a moment and smirked. Her right hand lightly caressing over the smooth, glassy surface of the cold marble throne. Returning her gaze to Eurydice, her dark lips pouted softly.

"Impatience.."

She sighed softly.

"...I have summoned you here for a few reasons. First, is to show you what the Abyss looks like, as not many get to come here as merely a.. visitor.. persay. So.. like what I have done with the place?"

Her seductive grin returning.

"You should have studied at the tower longer you know. Learning to harness the elements isn't as weak a skill you might think. Plus they have all those forbidden texts down in the vault. The early mages all properly served Gran Kain and their spells reflected it."

His hand snapped up above his head and for a moment half-seen swirls of energy coiled around it before he slapped his palm into the dirt around himself. The ground gave the tiniest ripple, barely felt by the demons and the living but unnoticed by the undead. Then it began. A vortex of sand burst up from the circle he had made around himself and whirled and screamed. Slowly it started to expand.

One of the zombies was first to reach an arm out into it only to have the arm shredded to nothing by the spinning sands. Worse then that the sand landing on it started to eat up the flesh, consuming it and reducing it to nothingness. As more undead started to feel the flaying sands the vortex grew in speed and power, expanding quicker now. The undead mages she had summoned through their fire into the vortex but to what effect was unknown, the sands blocking sight from anyone. Then they too were consumed.

The demons were last. Stronger, more powerful and a hide like steel they alone stood a chance and bound by the magics of the necromancer they lept into the sandstrom with howls of pain and rage. Within the vortex Ivory could sense the buildup of something and had the wisdom to take a few steps back before the vortex of sand exploded in a shockwave of flames which died just where she had been a few steps ago.

With the sands gone she could look in and saw Bog Mod slowly straightening up from where he had knelt. Inside the circle where he and Marasune were the land was still green and vibrant. Outside it was a sand blackened desert in a perfect circle around him and no sign of undead or demons.

"He probably ignores you because you are only a stupid human to him while he is one of Shillen's chosen people. Just my theory of course. As for why I wish to keep her from you the answer is rather simple. She belongs to no one but herself. So I am giving her that chance to choose."

He smiled a little and straightened his robes, the subtle glow of a mandala of power underneath him inside his circle fading away.

"Tell me Ivory, have you ever heard of the tome called the Apocryphia Celestia Arcana? It would not suprise me if you hadn't. The person who wrote it still lives as do the small few who have read it. It was penned during the war between Shillen and the gods by the Giants. Though they did not get involved in the war they did watch and learn. This the giant combined with their own almost perfect understanding the gods had taught to them of magic and the secrets of the world. I will not bore you with details but trust me when I assure you that just because a god is sustaining you does not make it so that you can not be destroyed permenantly."

"You don't seem to understand though how I would drag you down with me. You can fail Shillen in two ways. Failing to bring her back or by letting her suffer damage or even destruction. I do mean destruction, not death be assured. Do you really think Shillen would care for any excuse you could give? I am sure you have seen the results of those who disappointed and failed her. Do you want to end up like them?"

"I have no real wish to battle you which is why again I offer you a simple deal. You can find her anywhere so give her the chance to wake up and then you can try to get her to come with you however you wish and I will not interfere at all in that. I am ready though to fight on to give her that chance though."

Beneath him, to her trained arcane eye she saw a second symbol of some kind of relation to Gran Kain spring up under him. The previous mandala of power rotated slowly, built upon complex elemental masteries which in turn meant they were aspected to life for the elements were living things and did not exist in death.

*A smile takes shape accross his mouth as he listens to Ivory question his motives. His eyes still giving off a blue haze and his sword held in a ready but relaxed position to his side."

"Nothing in my life has ever been automatic dear necromancer...I should hardly say I have paid my homage to shilen. I respect her...she knows this. But, I have avoided my sacrifice to her several times now. Something, that may stain my faith for sure...believing my plan is just as important as hers. Yet, and then again...she has let me live and continue to befriend her daughter and fight along side her. As for my kneeling...it was directed to the Abyss for I know she watches us now.*

*Bog Mod began his spell and sand encircled the air around him. He lifts his shield to his face calmly to keep from being blinded by the harsh pellets. He watches as the demons and zombies are struck down and he lowers his defence. His look now directed back to Ivory he speaks again.*

"My life is no game. And, as foolish as it may seem to you...I have adopted my own ideals from what i see as fit. I believe Marasune may have a better purpose...that is why I choose to protect her. Times are changing. Soon there will be no race that stands alone...Dark Elves fighting along side Light, Orcs and Humans under the same commands. The time of Dawn and the time of Dusk approach. The old ways are dying."

Stepping back a few steps slowly, she smirked. Allowing the pompus Sorceror to devulge glimpses into his power. She just observed him casually, allowing him to think her a novice and of less skill than he. After the Sand Tornado cleared, and BodMod said his gloating speech, she stepped forward to where she had been originally.

"You are talented, Human, i'll give you that. But in your arrogance, you misjudge me. Shilen indeed sustains me, and there is nothing but her will that can end my undeath, for my soul is bound to hers intimately. I pledged my soul to Shilen, and in that I recieved power, and eternal life.. this shell may be destroyed, but I will be reconstituted seconds later. You are not as all-knowing as you think."

Her right hand firmly gripping her Magic Staff, she tapped it twice upon the ground.. at the moment of the second tap the skies became dark, the sun was blocked and the temperature dropped quickly, so much infact that their breath could be seen as they exhaled. The sky overcast.. and the bone-chilling wind grew even colder.

Ivory's body was now being caressed by blood red energy, her complete form outlined in it as it was almost like flames moving slowly over her body. Below her feet a Glyph of Power was visable.. golden and glowing it was the Human symbol of Necromancy nestled inside the Eye of Shilen. Around her body more Glyphs of Power just seemed to push up from under the ground, glowing brightly, they cast an eerie red glow about her. The glyphs began to swirl slowly, and ominous sounds could be heard by all. The voices of the damned and the tormented... cries.. horrible screams of females and males being tortured.. and lustful sounds as well mixed the audible vocals.

Ivory then lifted her staff and turned it sideways, the Eye sockets within the Skull upon it began to glow a vampiric red, matching the colour that caressed over her body and adding to the light that was already casting a very unsettling feeling to any whom viewed it.

Ivory spoke, but her voice was not her own.. it was the sound of many voices.. male, and female alike.. all speaking as one.

"You are a fool to challenge us, mortal. Your parlor tricks are no match for that of the Power of Shilen! Insolent mortal! You are lucky that the Goddess wishes her mate unharmed, or we would lay waste to this area and rip your soul from your decaying carcass presently!"

Her demonic gaze moving to Stitches, her black eye sockets consumed in red vampiric glow..

"Stitches.. you disappoint us. You speak of respect yet when your Goddess calls to you for service you abstain.. very disturbing. The times of change you speak of are already fortold.. and is expected. The Kiritateru has her own destiny, one that Shilen is directing. Your misguided ideals will not sway her from her task, and you are a fool to believe it so. The old ways will never die, as long as Life begins and Death consumes it. Your abstainence will be remembered, for the dead have LONG memories.."

That being said the Glyphs began to spin faster, and faster.. turning the chilling air into a vortex of wind of its own. The eerie glow continuing... Ivory's voice returning to normal.

"You have not won here, mortal. I have been called back to the Abyss by Shilen. As I spoke of before.. I.. I have an eternity to know your fleshhh... we will meet again..."

Falling to one knee, exhausted from her intense channeling, she kept her hand up and clentched to her staff, it standing upright in the place she last tapped and the eye sockets still glowing that ominous vampiric red colour. Tapping it once more upon the ground, a single belltoll chimed... and then she faded from their view.. like a ghost, and reappeared in the Abyss... The wind gradually died down and the moon came out. The skies cleared, showing the stars once again, yet that eerie chill still filled the air.. Like the touch of evil still lingered there.

"I did not think her so dense...she truely does not understand what I was trying to tell her or warn her of...but no matter. Those in Shillen's care, like Shillen herself seem unwilling to accept the world and so ignore that which displeases them."

He looked to the dark elf knight and shrugged. The cool air was warming from the sun allready and the chill was soon gone. What was with that last display he wondered. And why does she keep repeating her same threat over and over. Its not like her assurance that he will suffer for all eternity gets any more fearsome whenever she says it. Really, for that tactic to have been effective they should have tried to let him think their might have been some other fate for him then such but made it quite clear all end up like that. Ruins the threat really.

"I have to agree with you Stiches about the old ways. They are changing. Even the dark elves like yourself are starting to act differently and work together more. I think they are starting to think that even should their goddess win they won't escape suffering at her touch. Death does truely follow life but from death can come greater life then before."

He walked over to where she had stood and kneeled down and forrowed his brow thinking. His hand brushed slowly through the dirt and his protective amulets humming a little to protect him from the lingering effects of her essence infusing that spot though it was slowly disappating.

"Karola, the forth rune of power in the house of The Old Man In The Shadows. A little excessive for the display she wanted to show off. The sixth rune I think would have been more then sufficient. Then again I suppose that was Shillen displaying power and not Ivory."

He stood up and dusted himself off of the dirt on his knees and looked over to Stiches before walking back to where Marasune was resting and lifted her up slowly. He nodded to Stiches, signalling to him that he was welcome to come along with him as he travelled towards a place they could rest at. He had doubted this would be the last time that Shillen or her slaves would be after him. Ivory was very right when she said the dead had long memories.

"Frankly, it looks like hell, which all things considered is not all that odd. You should hire a gardener, you would be amazed what few trees and a flower bush do to a home. A few small furry things to take care of and I am sure the more permamant residents would feel right at home. What's with all the armor? What down here could possably hurt you anyway? The only spells of mine that will work here are probably my elemental ones. None of the other...residents are armed I am sure and with no body to channel mana, they probably find casting spells difficult."

She stretched and sighed. "I am tired, you have put me through a lot. Can we please get to the real reason you wanted me here, or must we play a few more games first?"

"Funny you should mention furry things.."

Looking over to her right, out of the darkness came a dog.. a very large dog. It was half decayed, and looked like it had been badly burned.. as it walked with glowing eyes.. the flesh almost dripping from its bones. The dog's jab chattering incessantly, as its large teeth were shown as drool was falling from its lips. The dog, heading straight for Eurydice, walked slowly.. as if it was stalking its prey.. the animal had a spiked, black leather collar around its neck with a metal clasp for a leash.

Looking back to Eurydice, from the dog, she smiled.

"Lovely, isnt it?"

Sighing she spoke again.

"...You do not seem to understand the Abyss, so I will let your ignorance go - this time. The Abyss or as its known, my Underworld, is like any other place in Aden, although it is not in Aden. My servants indeed have their bodies intact and they can channel their powers as long as I allow it. Nothing happens here without my blessing. Those whom have died come here by way of thie passing. My Guardians and servants oversee the souls that arrive and they are.. delt with accordingly."

"...As for my armour, there is a twofold reason. First, it is the same armour I wore so long ago in the time of war between my parents and I. I felt it is fitting to garb myself in it again, for this is indeed a time of coming war, and change.. Also, it was done to prove to you that you address the Goddess Shilien, and not anyone else."

"My Underworld is not a place one would like to visit of their own accord, unless invited by myself, and even then most do no stay long, for this place can twist even the strongest mind and soul to that of wickedness.. You see where i'm going with this, my dear?"

Smirking, her eyes still locked into the blue iris's of the Healer, she spoke softer, more relaxed, almost casually.

"Games? Oh, I do love a good game. The time for games has begun..."

Leaning forward in her throne, Shilien's golden iris's were clearly visible to Eurydice as they flashed to her once, violently.

"Time.. to play."

*sheathing his sword and swinging his shield around to his back he watches as Bog Mod carries Marasune away...He smiles faintly at him and nods but does not move toward him. Instead the knight glances in some direction as if looking for the Goddess herself...all the while he continually questioning the motives of her minions and her alike. His mind runs in circles as he finds no end to the twisted ways of shilen, yet, he smiles again softly and knows inside that he would die for her...he just doesnt know why.*

*without turning toward the unconcious Marasune and loaded down Bog Mod he lets them fade with a few words*

"Travel safely my friend. I must go see my family."

*Taking short strides forward he leaves the pair and starts on his way. In his head thinking only these words. "I would die for my wife, my son...I love them. And, they love me. Why would i die and give my soul for a mother that does not love her own child or children for that matter?" *He walks into a rising sun bluring his image to all behind him.*

Still kneeling in the grass, observing what would happen, MP watched silently as the Knight walked away. Leaning back against a tree, she watched Bogmod carry away Marasune until he was no longer visible.

"Hrm...I had better report what has transpired here," she thought to herself.

Chanting a few magical words, she waited as the portal to the Abyss opened itself. Stepping through, she made her way towards the throne where Jisai was seated. Stepping into view, she took a knee and made a bow in her direction. As she arose, she began her report of Bogmod's activities and the arrival of Stitches...

Jisai's attention was diverted after saying her final bit, when MoonPenguin came into view. Her golden iris's narrowed as she watched her kneel and bow in her direction. Hearing her immediately retell the situation she brought her left hand to her own jaw and caressed it softly.

"I see.."

"So, it seems the little Sorceror has been sticking his nose not only in the forbidden vault but he has also decided, in his arrogance, to believe that Marasune is to choose to do anything without my blessing. So typical of him. Seemingly.. the game is afoot."

Lowering her hand to her side she rose from her throne. Casually walking over to MoonPenguin, she looked down into the Necromancers eyes, her left hand coming to and holding her chin.

"You... my faithful Necromancer.. you my sister demonness, I require you to follow the elusive Sorceror and to accompany him. Watch him, for I need to know what his plans are. I would watch him myself, but I have other plans for Marasune and your sister Ivory that will take my attention. I am counting on you, my favoured one, report your findings to me, mentally."

Letting go of her jaw she patted MoonPenguin's cheek twice, then made her way over to Eurydice. Her black and silver battle armour gleamed in the twilight that was the normal lighting in the Abyss.

"You are here for a specific purpose, my dear Eurydice. You cannot leave, and in that you will slowly become corrupted. Your thoughts will be as mine are, you will think, as I do. Your faith will change from my pittifully weak sister, to myself, and you will think of nothing more than serving me, and me alone."

Pointing over to MoonPenguin she smiled seductively, her golden iris's pulsing softly.

"MoonPenguin and her sister Ivory were once like you. So full of vibrance.. so full of righteous spirit. When I slayed them I brought them here to the Abyss. Here they became demons, and in that I recreated them, as you see them now. Human on the outside.. demon on the inside. This is why their iris's glow as mine do, and that foolish Sorcerer took it as a flippant display of power."

Laughing softly she spoke again.

"No mere mortal could wield the power that these demon sisters do. They use their power for my Faith as their souls are so exquisitely.. empty. They have existed for many milliena and mastered the undead and dark arts under my tutilage. Singularly, they are only at half strength.. when they are together, fighting side by side, they are nearly unstopable with the potential of power against anyone but myself."

With a flick of her wrist and her finger pointed to MoonPenguin, she beconed her to leave.

"Begin your task; Its time, to play.."

Had been in a deep slumber, her conscience had wandered far from any mortal plane until she awoke in the midst of one of her great battles, in a memory... a faded but very disturbing memory...

========================================================================

Her pale blue eyes opened with tears and she cried out in great pain, she gripped in left ribcage as blood ran down the side of her white Kimono and onto her black Hakama. She grunted and tried to focus on her many attackers, one by one she brought them down, severing limbs
