Edit: How much does shield help vs 2 hand? I really like 2 handers...Couldn't I make up with better kiting and skill usage? Most sk pvp vids I think I could kite better... |

You also have to consider the PvP sword, whatever it's called, I can't remember. As far as leveling, if you go the 2h route as opposed to shield and 1h, you will lose out on any shield specific skills such as Shield Stun for the human...and whatever PDEF/Shield Block you might have gained by using a shield. |

DE can use a toggle, but that will drain their mp in no time. so, not kiting can actually decrease your damage taken. Lineage2: prepare to grind - like you've never grinded before |

I realize the OP mentioned SK using 2h, I kinda took it on my own to refer to tanks in general as far as using shield or 2H (other than the reference to the pictures you now see). Shield Stun as you see according to my post refered specifically to the human tanks. You mention not kiting can actually decrease your damage taken. I agree, that's what tanks do, stand and fight. If not equipped with a shield they will miss out on some great defensive "boosts" for lack of a better term. IMHO it's better for a tank class to do just that, leave the 2H DD stuff to DD classes. The following skills were taken directly from the skills list for Shillien Knights. It tells me to be effective or get the bonuses, you need to be using a shield. Shield Mastery - Shield P. Def. and defense rate are increased. Guard Stance - Increases P. Def. and shield defense success rate. MP will be consumed continuously. Aegis - Provides defense from all directions when a shield is equipped. |

Has a wallpaper of a SK in heavy holding a two hand sword. It looks badass but... Do SK's even use 2 handers? I read somewhere else on this forum it was okay but I haven't seen any SK pvp video usinga 2 hander vs 1/shield
