Soul cry/guard mana cost

Guys im in big need. Could anyone tell me/show short video ( would be perfect ) that containts a info about soul cry/guard mana cost ? should it takes 14 mana per tick and take only your mana regen or maybe it should drain your mana constantly ? C6 info would be the best but every chronicle after 6 will be good too. For all that will waste time for at least reading this thread and saying bout their experience, big thx.
