The only down side is the WC's heals are not as effective as an SE or other healer class but they do help. I also liked it because you get a mix of different buffs and debuffs. I've also used a Wc as my main with an SE as my support. I used Heavy armor and duals and He rocked! lol. That's the beauty of a WC is they are very versitile. They can tank, do damage, and support. I guess it all comes down to how you want to play your toon.

I kinda think I'm leaning more towards the buffer/support role, especially for COV, but in the meantime I gotta level him. Was just wondering what would be the best way to do that. I can continue to use him to support my scavy, or I can make a new one and support him with both SE and PP. I'd prefer the scavy method because I can then use him later to support my real DD's. If I make a new one, he'd be on the same account and that does me no good to be honest. Heh, I guess I answered my own question. |

I realize that a glad would be a better DD than scavy in the sense of being a true DD, at least in my opinion. I guess only reason I considered scavy was to pull in a little extra cash from spoils. I never really got into the manor system so I can't really do any comparison to the scavy. |

I, like many others, am considering a comeback to L2 after too much of WoW. I have two accounts to two-box with and was wondering what would be better. I currently use one for my main DD and the other solely for healer/buffer. I have both a 5x SE and PP on the healer account as well as a 20 something Shaman. I have several toons that I am interested in leveling; scavy, shammy, possibly glad.
As far as the WC to be is concerned, would it be better to start a new one and level him on my main acct with the buffers in support, or is it feasable to use one of the fighter types such as the scavy or glad with the current shammy in support (they are all around the mid 20s)? Would I need a healer or is Chant of Life sufficient to get them by most encounters?
If you say go with WC as main with buffer support, is it better to go more with casting or melee?
I don't foresee being able to get a group for his buffs as easy as in C1 now that dam near everybody two boxes a buffer, at least until the higher levels anyway.
