Apprentice Posts: 1 Joined: 25 Mar 2009 | Ok, so I've been playing on private servers for awhile now. I don't enjoy it because almost no one fucking speaks English. I have been considering starting playing Lineage II retail again. I have many questions so if someone or some people could take the time to answer them it would be greatly appreciated.
1.I also play WoW a lot. I never quested when I used to play L2 retail(when it first was released)I only grinded and it took forever. I eventually started to bot and was banned for it after reaching 50.(Sound like a former drug addict. lol) Anyways, my question is. How is the questing system? Is it good like wow? I see these things about locs, are these like coords in wow?And how do you use these? I tried questing a bit on private servers but it was extremely difficult because there aren't sites like thottbot or wowhead to help you with the quests like there is for wow? And coords on wow help alot so maybe if I can figure out the loc system?
2. Is L2 still going strong? Is there a good community/market in game? I have heard many different things on this forum. Like its dead, its alive, its fine. As long as I play Bartz for US? I remember people buying animal skin, animal bone, and iron ore back in the day. Do people still do this? I remember making a good amount of money that way.
3. If I play again, what should I roll? I'm not much of a healer/buffer or tank so I enjoy DPS. Sword singer or BD hybrid would be fine.
4. Can I just download the game off of their website for free and create a new account and play from there? Is it really that simple?
Any other info you think I would want to know based on my questions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this :P. |
