Moderator Posts: 6301 Joined: 30 Jun 2004 | No, you don't have to buy the game to download it. That is how you use the trial. And if you decide to upgrade your trial to full, the account that gave you the trial gets free game time, so thats a nice little way of saying thank you.

The only free download is for the recent expansion. Where can I download the game so I can acutally try it without buy it yet? |

try the download links provided by MrCheese just a few posts above yours. you can either download from Filplanet (you can register for free there) or from Gamersgate without any registration at all. i tried the links and no where was i asked to buy the game first, so you might have just klicked on a wrong link. Just use the one provided by Cheese Lineage2: prepare to grind - like you've never grinded before |

If you download the newest client (subtitled Gracia) you get the base game and every content update so far. L2 works differently to WoW and EQ and the like, updates come with their own subtitle, are free and are just additions to the base game. I |

If you want a trial code for LineageII, please leave a message in this thread, including your email as this is important for the code to work.
If you want to help by giving someone a code, please leave a message in this thread, with your preferred means of contact. (PM, email, etc)
*cheese edit* both guitar and myself no longer have trial codes to give out for Lineage 2, feel free to post your email, somebody may be willing to send codes out but you may not recieve a code at all.
Also be wary of posting your main email on these boards, it's possible spambots could crawl this thread collecting email addresses.
