(Albany, NY for those of you with a short attention span) IMO common sense completely defeats the purpose of your overly redundant study. Do something more original instead of regurgitating the same crap that hits this site and any other MMO affiliated fan site at least once a week. If you are seriously doing this study for a Masters/Doctorate I'd be interested to know what field your going into where the data is going to be relevant to anything and why you are wasting your time gathering redundant data to begin with. Aren't there fifty bajillion white papers and studies out there on this subject matter already? I mean seriously, http://scholar.google.com FTW... I think the whole MMO research project is up there with Abortion, Gay Rights, and Stem Cell Research right now on the "Write this to make your professor stab himself in the eye with something dull and pointy" scoreboard. GL on not establishing a trend of loathing across the internet via publicity of your numbnuttedness.

Do you play MMORPGs, like World of Warcraft, all the time? If so, we want to hear your experiences.
Zachary Miner, a graduate student at the State University of New York at Albany, is doing research on people who spend lots of time playing MMORPGs to see what effect, if any, it has on other parts of their lives (family, work, school, etc.). Your responses will be of great help in understanding the MMORPG phenomenon.
The requirements for participation in this study are:
1) You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
2) You must currently spend a significant amount of your free time (around 20 hours per week, or more) playing MMORPGs, or have done so at some point in the past.
If you meet these requirements and want to participate right now, just visit http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=546013543771 to take the survey!
If you'd like more information about this study, please send an e-mail to mmorpgstudy@gmail.com.
We look forward hearing from you!
