With a description of the new race roughly translated in this thread, do you think they sound a little overpowered?

I say yes, they will definitly be overpowered, but then, I guess that will be the fun of it really. 6 months of overpowered kamaels, and people abusing it's powers. Then again, all the others races will already have higher levels on kamaels so I guess it's kinda fair. Still, there will be people who will be on kamaels nonstop and level them up to like... A grade in a week or so :/

sounds like the Korean EE's who where crying in the forums that EE's are MP factories only when they can recharge them selfs, maybe the only class who complained about THEM SELFS that they can do something good for others. AND GUESS WHAT! YOU STILL ARE MP FACTORY except now you do it less as good!

wow, focusedmind, that was really uncalled for... but by subclass undecided, it means that they don't know if they should let it be subclassable or not, meaning. Will that class be like warsmiths and overlords where nobody can subclass that class or let it be free like all that other classes. Who wouldn't want to subclass it though? It's like, the first real magic/melee hybrid. It sounds to me like it'll be a really interesting class.

Rather aggressive there Focusedmind, you could have got the same point across a lot more eloquently and without being an ass, so perhaps a short ban will help you realise that.

This poll was to get an opinion on whether the Kamael are gonna end up another flavour of the month class. If you can't see that without bitching and moaning just as bad as the people you're moaning about, then you'll get a ban as well eamonn.

From what I have read, I do think they sound overpowered. I am not complaining about it and I have no plans to reroll one.

And those who have played since beta, you all know that when NC Soft releases something, it has a tendency to be overpowered, history shows it.

I think they'll be overpowered, but as wolfkin said, usually things arent quite fair when they release something new. So i predict a reign of the kamael for a little while, but i think they'll weaken them or give everyone else a boost...wait its ncsoft, they'll just nerf the kamael into oblivion

a lot of things sound overpowered on paper that end up not being overpowered in the actual game. the one thing i want to see is how the skills they ripped from WoW will translate to L2. I have a feeling that it might not be too pretty...
