I play a DA and I am wondering what is the best B grade set I should work towards... Along with my tattoos. Keep in mind before you decide the tattoos and B grade set, I usually tag team with a Necro. I basically just want the best pvp set up so I can annihilate pretty much everybody with my friend =P

armor: doom heavy
tatoo: +4con tatoo -4str
weapon: either dama (or kesh) focus or for even more staying power dmg/aoba health.

your damage comes from your panther. so you want to stay alive as long as possible

thanks! should I get armor or weapon first? someone suggested +3 con - 3 str, +2 con - 2 str, and +4 wit - 4 int what do you think about that?

+5 is the most you can increase an attribute by tatoos. (armor bonus is calculated seperately and is allways added to tatoos), so the -str +con seems reasonable to me. but dont make the +4wit/-4int tatoo. thats old information. before c5 more wit would increase your chance of resisting an debuff, but that was changed in this chronicle so now wit is for cast speed only and you dont need cast speed, therefor save your money, this tatoo is useless for you.

what to get first, i would say aim for the armor. your damage output isnt your biggest strenght, your defence is. so play to your strenghts and get the armor first and the weapon second. sure if you find a good deal on the weapon get it by all means. but the armor should benefit more. and never forget to pack some crystalls for your little kitty.

Plus, even if you could wouldn't lower int lower the land rate of Hamstring?

i think hamstring is considered a skill and not a spell, but it should lower the drain.

Id go Zubei, doom increases your hp but for the cost of -3str,which is a serious blow to DA. he NEEDS str. without STR its like a hard to kill grade A meat walking around. Zubei adds def and HP as well and doesnt cripple your str. look zubei stats and you'll see.

99% of people disagreed and talked crap to me telling me what I should get, but this is what I did in b grade. I had +3 Blue Wolf, +6 tsu*sls, and str tattoos. With this set up i could take out gladiators my lvl. After all the trash talk a friend let me borrow +3 Doom set, and a dama. I dueled the gladi again, and could not beat him out of 5 trys.

Using duals with a DA? Interesting.....Did U use your Cat and set up a macro to use your stun or did you and the glad just start slappin' each other with your duals?

Was it the same glad U fought everytime?

i Wouldnt use duals on a tank, coz like 20-25% (well TK and SK more) of their awsome deffencive power comes from their shield, and they have stun, not only meaning slower stun recharge, but macros slow things down even more (unless your using a macro program ouside of l2, coz they can be really fast) if you gonna use any wepon other then sword/blunt use dagger faser shield stun that way, but i always say health SA and dagger doesnt have ^^

+5 con -5 STR, DA cant use the DEX to maximun advantage so keep the STR.
+4 WIT sill helps casting speed, so its worh it :D

as for armour set, doom heavy is pretty dam good still good even in the 70's

there is nothing wrong with relying on your panther to do damage :p

but.... a great sword +5 STR +4 CON health SA with BW heavy, added with the damage of the panther could do some nice damage :D
DA's shield deffence sucks any ways, just macro in shield stun, i can imagine how that would be good ^^ and espeshally V's glad who hacks out your shield deffence, and cant really be stuned in pvp.(or how that would work awsomely in a-grade or Pve)

Or do like some do...hit ultimate defense pull out a bow and shoot away :) (I have done this and it is halarious)

yah, nobody can beat a tank in a bow fight :D
