I have a lvl 54 OL and am finding myself becoming more and more involved in PvP. At this point my abilities in PvP seem to be...well lets just say I am not very successful at 1v1. Can some of the other OL's give some helpful tips on how to be more successful at PvP. Perhaps list some combinations of spells that work well. It would seem that the OL would be great with all the debuffs but seems that you really dont have much time to mess with that in a fight. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

OL are no longer the ultimate killing machine in pvp that they used to be. They are still good at it but really far from the earlies chroniques.

in a 1v1 dont try to debuff your oponent too much. just drain and kill them or melee them with your p.atk/pdef toggles.

debuffs are more for mass pvp where you can hit a large number so that you chance to land increases.

Ok thats helpful, thanks. So with mass PVP what seals are the most effective? Obviously silence on casters is a pain in the a$$ but what about the other seals? Any good advice here?

Silence and the root aoe. Binding I believe it is.

silence, root, ***suspension***, winter is nice if you happen across a large group of archers especially.

At 54 don't use any seal unless it's at a castle siege. If you are forced into pvp then start off with frost flame then drain. Even though frost flame is low level it has a decent chance to land and it will eat away CP better than trying to drain through it.

At your level if you are in a siege just toggle Soul Guard on and run into the enemy casting as many seals as possible until you die. The best ones are Silence/Root/Suspension/Winter like Skull said, but suspension has the best chance to land out of all of those.

When you get CP heals expect to stand in the back and just do those. It's boring, but it's what's needed. Expect to fill this role until 78+.
