Adventurer Posts: 258 Joined: 2 Dec 2005 | I've never have a PW, always been Destro or TH, but i've seen PW ruling. Not so low con, so not as easy as AW to stun. Hgh evasion and speed help them to came close to archers easily, and the good M. Def to reach nukers. The high dex make the MM to land more, and the STR influence very little in the dmg of the skill (elves low str). So for Pvp, waht you want, for me the PW is the best for the role of dagger (killing robe and light amror users) because of its speed, evasion, land of the MM, m def. For PvE i prefere TH cause he hits harder, harder criticals and the best atk speed. But well, surely someone who has a PW can tell u lot more things than me PD: and just a little question about daggers. the best option for PvE es focus, but i was told that crit.dmg. is really good for PvP. that the p atk bonus count in the MM or sth?? |

I had a TH before and I hated the fact that a lot of skills were useless and PvP was extremely hard. I did love the deadly blow though, and the damage dealing skills, was a lot of fun. PW and AW are getting a boost in CT1 too. PWs will havve higher crit rate, and AW with higher crit damage. P.atk does affect the attack skills from daggers last time I checked. WindHawk. STR doesnt really effect skills, but crit damage passive does (last time i heard) Dont make me Spam! |

So, with a dagger with SA crit. dmg. a dagger will hit harder with the might mortals? |
Master Looter Posts: 2325 Joined: 13 May 2005 | i believe crit damage SA is added on top of the damage the hit normaly does, instead of increasing the base damage. Lineage2: prepare to grind - like you've never grinded before |

Master Looter Posts: 2325 Joined: 13 May 2005 | to my knowledge blow landing chance is dependend on your position (better chance from behind) and after that its pure luck. Lineage2: prepare to grind - like you've never grinded before |
Adventurer Posts: 258 Joined: 14 Jun 2007 | When you stab you get about 25% chance to land from front, about 50% chance to land from sides, and about 75% to land from behind, unless it's backstab. Learned that awhile back, unless NCSoft changed it. Seems like they changed a lot of things about daggers. WindHawk. SwordSinger of Gustin - level unknown... LII fan |

I've been a sword singer most of my time on Gustin. I'm in love with PvP, seriously, it's really the only reason why I play L2. SwS's are good, but they get annoying for me to level, and so, I decided to go Plains Walker instead. I rolled one because I thought it'd be easier for me to level with, and for some strange reason, I'm kinda attached to elves... it's weird... Well then, Vitrian's clan suffered a big lost (being I was like the only active/high level SwS in the clan, at least for now) but I'll make it up with my PvP skills. (I was pretty good when it came to pvp on my sws :D Murdered those BDs who thought SwS were weak >.>). Now then, my question is, how are PWs when it comes to straight out PvPs? I understand they may not be the best of the three when it comes to dealing hardcore damage, but then again, I WAS a sword singer, so being even the weakest dagger class will be a huge change when it comes to dealing damage. Any thoughts are appreciated.
