Hi, im getting this game soon and was gonna go down the path of a spellsinger, but i was wondering, are they useful for partys and soloing? I would like to be able to solo well and not have any Major problems but i would also like to get party invites easily without having to wait around for ages.

yeah they are a pretty eficient class.

they kill pretty fast, but theyre not as good as they have been in the past

They are the least MP efficient nukers so they are bad at Soloing and Grouping (compared to the other nukers). They have been very good crowd controllers in the past, but since in C5 sleep and aoe sleep got basically killed they can't do that anymore.^^

Still neat for PvP though I spose^^

just go with SH if your gonna make a nuker.
they are the only one that hasnt been repeatedly nerfed.

but aura flare was a PwNaGe skill :)
