Hi all, was just wondering if Sws was any good in interlude. I kinda wanted to try something different, and i do like light elves. I also want him probably for sieges mostly, ive been wanting to get into sieges alot more since ive only done 2.
Dont ask me what ive been doin lol. So please give ur thoughts on sws and if theyre still a good class. Ive read up alittle on them and they dont look all that good for 1vs1 but for sieges the dances would probly be good, no?

i am an SR and i pvp'd against many sws in the arena and have always won, but in my opinion arena pvp doesn't count. but i have never ran into one during a siege. but i would imagine that in sieges u would be put in an archer party for the crit rate song, which is ridiculously kick ass. but if i ran into one, i would not underestimate them at all. but compared to a BD, bd's do more dmg while elves are the weakest fighters. but if u have an infatuation with elves like i do then go with preference, b/c thats wat this game is about.

they have decent damage output, nothing spectacular but solid, are wanted for groups because of their songs.

now you need to decide what you want. sws are usualy highly wanted chars for pvp and pve parties, but they still are only a support class. so they are not very good 1 on 1 but their heavy armor means they can take a hit or two and still live. their good defensive buffs are wanted in sieges to reduce enemy damage, so if your goal is to be wanted for sieges, sws will be a very good support class for that.

It's true SwS are good in groups, but it's hard to be wanted in groups until you're level 49 and getting there from level 40 is a real pain in the @$$ expecially when you don't have a clan or your clan just sucks harder than anything. Ugh, but I guess it's all worth it in the end, expecially after you hit level 55, when you have shackle and psycho symphony. Dunno how the SR won against the SwS so easily though, considering the fact that shackle and psycho symphony should've done some great deal together, but oh well.
