In fact, much more so for the Tyrant than the Gladi. As for the buffer, WC overall will be a lot better than the SE. You'll just have to lvl up your WC quite a bit before you will feel the full benefit of having it, but that doesn't matter now because you get newbie buffs to like lvl 60 or something.

For the second question Ty vs. Glad I've seen both do well but I generally think Glads are better against a wider variety of classes. But I've seen very good and bad PVP fom both. They are both very player dependant PVP classes. |

Master Looter Posts: 2316 Joined: 13 May 2005 | a high lvl WC will be the best buffer you will get for a melee and also his heal over time is pretty powerfull. he will buff groups faster than any other buffer and does pack a decent punch if you need melee support in a fight. coupled with his sleep spell and his ability to drain enemies hp, its an excellent class in HIGH lvl. contrary to others i would rather sugest a SE for someone starting out fresh. the SE will get the wanted buffs quicker, can recharge you (restore mp), can give you strong single target heals to keep you alive and has root and wind shackle spells to help you with mob add. the SE will stay usefull all the way through your lvling and will be a trusty companion. also once they get the maximum lvl of their buffs, they can easily do their job also from out of party, where the wc will be more work to be played decently 2boxed and out of party. so if the choice is between a high lvl SE and WC i would take the WC, but if the choice is between lvl 1 SE and WC i would stick with the SE. most noticeable lacking buff of the SE is haste and tyrants can do quite well without it or if you want with alcricity pots from shops.
